THE NEW MP CERAMIC BURNER TIP
MULTIPORT FLAME RETAINING CERAMIC BURNER NOZZLE

The multiport ceramic burner tip has been in use in the States for many years and is a high-quality, long-lasting sealed ceramic burner. The flame retention design allows for faster light-ups, saving time and energy and provides ultra-quiet operation without the high pitch whine or loud roaring rumble of some burner heads. Several options are available to enable the tip to be used with a permanent pilot, fully automatic lightup and full safety to satisfy local gas regulations. The MP tips are at home in many industries including metal and glass melting and can be used on forced air or atmospheric controls. The MP burner tips are cast from 1900oC tabular alumina and are designed specifically for use with higher mixture pressures. The tips have been tested up to 2.2 kPa mixture pressure with various gasses and maintain a steady flame at all pressures. They can also be used with a wide range of air/gas ratios and have excellent turn-down characteristics.

Note: Atmospheric burners (not using forced air fans or blowers) can be expected to develop less than 750 Pa of mixture pressure however, as a guide, the MP150G develops approx. 220 MJ/Hour on a gas pressure of 100 kPa. Mixture pressure is not the same as the incoming gas pressure. The MP tips should only be used on an air/gas system or high (approx. 70 kPa and more) gas pressures.
