The LPI inspirators utilise the smooth tapered throat and longer mixing length for superior mixing. They are used on higher pressure gasses and are also suitable as economisers, inducing up to 5 parts of atmospheric air to one part compressed air, in conjunction with the matched AP mixer. You may, in most situations, substitute the SPI inspirator with a similar throat area providing there is sufficient mixing length between the inspirator and the burner tip. The LPI inspirators are made of aluminium with a one piece brass injector in the LPI25 and LPI32 and two piece in the other sizes. It is possible to have these cast in iron however minimum quantities are required. All sizes are stocked except for the LPI100 that is available to order.
A simple high pressure, high capacity gas torch can be assembled using the matching FR tip and LPI inspirator. Check the "Torch burner" brochure for more details.
