MEDIUM PRESSURE "AN" TORCHES

These are similar to the preceding AN torches however greater capacities are possible operating on higher gas pressures. Turndown is restricted to approx. 4:1 however the addition of a stable JM pilot (please see the "Pilot Burner" page) may assist with a low rate setting. Please specify the gas type and pressure when ordering.

HIGH PRESSURE "FR" TORCHES

These are high pressure gas torches delivering a medium velocity conical flame and are available in a range of sizes and capacities.

FR torches operate on high pressure L.P.G or Natural Gas from 30-300 kPa and are supplied with a gas control valve. The FR torches induce between 65% and 100% of the total air from the inspirator. Maximum input per appliance combustion space is 60-100 MJ/Hour/28 litres (60-100 MJ per ft3).

The capacity values are approx. only and are at 100 kPa. Greater capacities are possible at higher pressures.
