S5 HIGH PRESSURE TORCH
This is a special gas torch burner with a circular flame designed to fit under liquid heating tanks or where the circular flame pattern developed would be more suited to the process. The flame is spread in a pattern of about 400mm in diameter. The required gas pressure should be between 30-300 kPa. The S5 is the basic burner only, with an end entry, without the mixing pipe or inspirating section. The S5C has the end entry, mixing pipe and the inspirator, the S5S is the side entry version with the pipe and inspirator.

HBT HI-BLAST TORCHES
The high blast torches are compact
heating burners that deliver higher capacities than normal heating torches. They are a
complete assembly with modified FR burner tip, mixers and valves.
APPLICATIONS
|
![]() |
OPERATION
Hi-blast torches use small
amounts of high pressure air (100-700 kPa) to pick up incoming gas at a modified mixer.
The gas pressure is elevated and the resulting mixture of air/gas is delivered to the
orifice in the inspirator where large quantities of air required for combustion are
induced. Greater mixture pressures and capacities are therefore possible.
The assembly can be purchased complete with the modified flame retaining burner nozzle, air valve and gas valve or separately. Approximate capacity should be stated as well as gas type and pressure when ordering.
